So like I said in my last post we are trying to bring Sunny out of his shell and give him some personal skills, and to be honest there are some days it's really hard to tell if we are making difference, but then there are those moments when we are blown away at how far he's come.

Like recently, we had some friends over and like anyone might do, they ring the doorbell. So of course Sunny barked like crazy for the first minutes and not even Dog Whisper Cesar Millan's "Tsch!" was really working. So naturally we feel a little defeated when we work with him almost daily with the doorbell thing. BUT! While we were on the couch Sunny stretched out his neck to give a little lick to our guests! So good! (side not: he's really become like our kid. We get so proud of him in little moments like those and Kasey even said the other day that she knows that she'll love her kids way more than Sunny, but right now she can't imagine how lol).

While we continue to try to bring Sunny out of his shell I feel my part is to take him out adventuring like a good Dad might do. We jump off rocks, cause a little trouble, go off the path, and get a little dirty. It's fun to watch him trot right behind me with no leash and really having to encourage him to run ahead and be "free". In fact, I posted a short video on Instagram, but there were at least 2 more that I had to watch over and over because it was so fun to see him, not be his normal shakey self.

Here are some pictures from our adventure... I think he's trying to tell me he has a good side.
